Raider revengePosted Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 11:00 AM
The Raiders played host to John A. Logan last night and won, 81-75. The Raiders played solid defense down the stretch forcing key turnovers to get the win.
The win ended the Raiders two-game losing streak to the Vols, including a loss earlier this season, 72-67. Jeremy Marrs, in his second game back from an ankle injury was most effective on the defensive end as he had four blocks in just over 10 minutes on the floor. Marquise Carter led the Raiders with 24 points. Through the first six games, Carter has led the team in scoring every time out. The Raiders are back in action Friday and Saturday at Mineral Area College against Kennedy King and Simmons College. |
