Rachel Crader is the editor of semoball.com. She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May of 2009 before spending the summer covering the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Highlights from Rachel's days in college include having a class down the hall from Chase Daniel and having NCAA wrestling champion Ben Askren hold the door open for her at Brady Commons, Mizzou's student center. She spent time covering Mizzou basketball, softball and baseball while working for the Columbia Missourian and is excited to return home to Southeast Missouri to cover local sports for semoball.com.

Rachel has covered three Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournaments for the Southeast Missourian and semoball.com, and she'll see you courtside again this year.

Changes to District 14 Senior Legion Schedule (updated)

The District 14 Senior Legion tournament was scheduled to begin Wednesday night, but, due to rain that night, the start was pushed back to Friday night, according to a email I received from Steve Williams.

You can find the new schedule and the teams participating below. If you have been following any of the teams this summer please feel free to post your predictions below. (Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to provide any analysis at all.) Also, if you go to the game tonight or any over the weekend please come back and let us know what the results were and who was the star of the game.

Friday

Game 1: Poplar Bluff vs. Sikeston -- 6 p.m.

Saturday

Game 2: Cape vs. Jackson -- Noon

Game 3: Dunklin Co. vs. winner of Game 1 -- 3 p.m.

Game 4: Loser Game 2 vs. Loser Game 1 -- 6 p.m.

Sunday

Game 5: Loser Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 -- 1 p.m.

Game 6: Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3 -- 4 p.m.

Game 7: Loser Game 6 vs. Winner Game 5 -- 7 p.m.

Monday (Championship)

Game 8: Winner Game 6 vs. Winner Game 7 -- 5 p.m.

Game 9: Winner Game 8 vs. Winner Game Winner Game 6 (if necessary) -- 8 p.m.

The Jackson Junior Legion team won its district tournament last week and is playing in the zone tournament this weekend. I'll of course pass along any scores and results I receive. (UPDATE: Jackson lost its first two games of the tournament and has been eliminated.)
