SEMO football picked last in the OVC
Posted Monday, July 27, 2009, at 2:13 PM
I just posted two stories on semoball.com about the release of the OVC's preseaon polling today.
Two players, wide receiver Walter Peoples and punter Doug Spada, were named to the preseason All-OVC team.
The Redhawks, though, were picked to finish last in the conference, tying with Austin Peay for the fewest votes from members of the media and sports information offices.
I guess this shouldn't come as any sort of a surprise at this point...

Looking forward to seeing any players in particular this season?
At some point, the string of coaching failures gets so long that there is a need to look for other reasons for the teams lack of success.
For example, program will probably always struggles with the facilities they currently have, which is something I know has been said a million times before.
Not to say that I think the current staff is good or bad, just that this staff and any other staff that would ever come to SEMO will need some help from the school and the boosters. That is just the reality -- sad, good, fair, unfair or otherwise.
