State soccer first, Sikeston football second (Big day!)

Posted Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 11:08 AM

Good morning, all. I'm up way earlier than your average sports journalist (or maybe it's just me) so I can get up to Fenton to catch Notre Dame soccer in the Class 2 third-place game at 11 a.m.

I'll have live updates throughout the game and I'll be talking to the ND players and coaches.

Of course, after the game I'll be looking for a place to follow the Sikeston football team's semifinal game against Helias starting at 1:30. We'll have coverage of that showdown later this evening.

I trust that drawmules, pigdog, Headhunt, et al. will take care of the in-game discussion in the forums until, and probably well after, I make my way back to semoball after soccer.

Until kickoff...

Good luck Bulldogs and other Bulldogs. Not to mention Valle....don't they play today too?
