Leopold vs. Zalma in one quick game!!

Hello everybody I'm back!! After a brief break for personal reasons ;-) I'm back to give you my point of view of the unstoppable Leopold boys basketball team!!
The boys took on the Zalma Bulldogs tonight in what I personal thought was going to slightly resemble a all out brawl, was actually a quick game. The Wildcats were hittin shot after shot after shot, were as it appeared that Zalma wasn't. The game ended with a score of 91-58. The high point(s) of the game for me that I can remember was when 1. I wasn't paying attention and almost got knocked over by one of our players (sorry Ryan!) and 2. when I almost got knocked over again (this time I was paying attention and back out of the way for him!) by a Zalma player this time and 3. when Gregg Jones went up for a shot, over ran it a bit and then Brandon Jansen jumped up and made it...so awesome!!
The game over all was good. The boys (Leopold) actually played one of the best games I've ever seen them play this year. GREAT JOB BOYS!!
The next game for the Wildcats is Friday, February 19 @ 6:00 pm. This is also our homecoming game so I hope everyone can attend!!
MVC Tourney Part 1 Well, last night was fun! The JV started off the Thursday night games with a victory against Meadow Heights. The Varsity faced off against Zalma. Leopold dominates Chaffee Last night the Leopold bus made its way down south to Chaffee. The Junior Varsity Wildcats won against the Devils 53-47. The Leopold came out strong in the first quarter and kept the lead throughout the whole game. The Wildcats were ahead by twenty or so unitl the third quarter when Chaffee cut it down to ten. The Wildcats pulled ahead and won the game 63-50...
Leopold faces off against Richland Last night Leopold made the long journey down to Richland to face off against the 6th ranked team. The JV Wildcats won their game. The Varsity played hard. The trailed Richland by at least ten until the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter the Wildcats kept coming back and eventually trailed the Rebels by two. But then in some bad luck, Leopold fouled Richland and allowed the Rebels to pull ahead to win the game 76-71. Good job boys! You played hard!!...
The Wildcats Take Down the Panthers What a game! What a game!! The Wildcats hosted the Panthers tonight in a nail biting, foot stomping, hair pulling game. Before I get to the Varsity match it wouldn't be fair to not recognize the JV. The JV Wildcats took off with an early lead and never gave up to win the game...

Rhiannon Martin is a senior at Leopold High School. After high school Rhiannon plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University and major in secondary social studies education.
Rhiannon is a member of the Leopold High School cheerleading squad. When she is not cheerleading, Rhiannon is also a member of the Concert Choir, the Beta Club and serves as vice president for the Blue Claws. Aside from cheerleading Rhiannon has participated in many sports spanning from softball to basketball to volleyball. She also enjoys going to watch basketball games where she doesn't have to wear a skirt in twenty degree weather.
