My First Blog!!!! Leopold Travelin' to Marquand

Well hello SemoBall world!! It's so exciting to be able to blog about all the Leopold Basketball games I get to watch. As you all know I am a cheerleader but fear not! I do know about basketball. I played for four years and I have father who is into basketball very much.

So now down to the main topic: Leopold playing Marquand. The basketball team made the long trip down to Marquand to play them on their homecoming. The Leopold JV boys played a really good game and pulled ahead early with a victory. The Leopold Varsity boys came out of the locker room ready to go. They ran away with the lead early in the first quarter and never let it go. The Wildcats ended the game with a score of 30-74. Besides not having any cell phone service it was a great night. Good Job Boys!!!

Great blog!! So glad your going to cover the Leopold basketball games. We have an exciting week ahead of us, Meadow Heights at Leopold on Tues. night and then traveling to Richland Thurs. night. We can't wait to read your coverage of our future games.

I really like the Concert Choir at Leopold. Sometimes you can get better cell phone service if you lay your phone down flat on the bleachers.

Thank You drawmules for complimenting on our Concert Choir!! We work really hard to sound the way we do and I know our director really appreciates it when we are recognized.

I'm so excited for the game tuesday night against Meadow Heights farminmarsh!!! I honestly have no clue how Richland is but its always high energy when we play Meadow Heights!!

The Wildcats are going to HAVE to be on their toes and play thier best Tues. night and especially Thursday night when we travel to Richland. It's HARD to beat the Stoddard county teams on their home courts. I look to have a good turn out for both games. Meadow Heights always brings a crowd and with both Richland and Leopold teams being state ranked that will bring out spectators too. CHEER loud both nights, you know we will.

Good job Rhiannon. I look forward to your bloggs on Leopold. Richland will be hard to beat on their home court. They beat Advance on their home court last Friday, but keep in mind that Advance has lost 2 starters.

Rhiannon Martin is a senior at Leopold High School. After high school Rhiannon plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University and major in secondary social studies education. Rhiannon is a member of the Leopold High School cheerleading squad. When she is not cheerleading, Rhiannon is also a member of the Concert Choir, the Beta Club and serves as vice president for the Blue Claws. Aside from cheerleading Rhiannon has participated in many sports spanning from softball to basketball to volleyball. She also enjoys going to watch basketball games where she doesn't have to wear a skirt in twenty degree weather.
