2010 American Legion "AAA" Zone 4 Tournament

The 2010 American Legion Zone 4 Tournament starts tomorrow with three games. All games will be played at Capaha Field in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Join us for updates and coverage throughout the entire weekend!

The 5 teams competing this weekend:

Cape Girardeau Ford and Sons (37-11)

Dunklin County (37-8)

AmVets (16-14)

Festus (21-3)

Eureka (33-7)

Here is the schedule of the upcoming games:

Friday

Game 1: AmVets Post 67 vs. Dunklin Co. Post 303 2 p.m.

Game 2: Ford and Sons Post 63 vs. Eureka Post 177 5 p.m.

Game 3: WG1 vs. Festus Post 253 8 p.m.

Saturday

Game 4: LG1 vs. LG2 2 p.m.

Game 5: WG2 vs. WG3 5 p.m.

Game 6: WG4 vs. LG3 8 p.m.

Sunday

Game 7: WG6 vs. LG5 2 p.m.

Game 8: WG5 vs. WG7 5 p.m.

Monday (if necessary)

Game 9: WG8 vs. LG8 7 p.m.

Logan is a big St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Lakers fan. His favorite moment as a Laker fan was Derek Fisher's 0.4 shot. He also watches poker regularly. His favorite players are Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and Daniel Negreanu.

Logan is the editor of the Index, Truman's student-produced weekly newspaper. He is a senior and will graduate next summer. He has covered several sports, from Cross Country to Basketball.
