Junior Legion wins overs Ste. Genevieve

Plaza Tire Junior Legion makes the most of six hits in 6-4 victory over Ste. Genevieve

Both Plaza Tire Junior Legion and Ste. Genevieve put runners aboard on Friday, but it was Plaza Tire Junior Legion that was able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-4 win at Jackson, Mo.

Ste. Genevieve out-hit Plaza Tire Junior Legion eight to six, but Ste. Genevieve stranded 12 runners on base.

Plaza Tire ...Junior Legion was led by a flawless day at the dish by Aaron Grainger, who went 3-3 against Ste. Genevieve's pitching. He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.

Josh Jansen racked up 12 strikeouts in the Plaza Tire Junior Legion win. Jansen allowed two earned runs, eight hits and three walks over seven innings.
