Minor earns OVC soccer weekly honor

Southeast Missouri State forward Natasha Minor was named the Ohio Valley Conference's offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday.
The sophomore scored two of the Redhawks' goals in their 4-0 win against Eastern Illinois on Friday.
She also had an assist in the team's conference opener and is tied for first in the OVC with 0.5 assists per game.
Murray State claimed the other weekly conference awards. Rebecca Bjorkvall earned defensive Player of the Week while Shelby Haworth was named Goalkeeper of the Week.
Southeast hosts UT Martin and Murray State on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
