SEMO Conference baseball tournament seeding announced

The seedings and bracket for this weekend's SEMO Conference Baseball Tournament were released Wednesday morning.

Here is the seeding list:

1. Poplar Bluff (20-4)

2. Kennett (10-6)

3. Notre Dame (12-7)

4. Sikeston (12-6)

5. Jackson (12-10)

6. Cape Central (11-7)

7. New Madrid County Central (5-11)

8. Dexter (6-13)

The higher-seeded teams will host the first round games on Friday, while Saturday's semifinals will be played at Notre Dame.

The championship will be played at 8 p.m. Monday at Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau.

Consolation semifinals will be played Saturday at Cape Central, along with a seventh-place game.

Monday will also feature a consolation final and a third-place game, all at Capaha Park.
