Saxony Lutheran's William Rogers signs with Lewis and Clark Community College

Saxony Lutheran guard William Rogers signed to play basketball at Lewis and Clark Community College on Thursday.
Rogers averaged 16.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 8.25 assists per game this past season as he earned Class 3 all-state honors. The Crusaders advanced to the Class 3 quarterfinals before losing to Whitfield, which advanced to the championship game.
Rogers is a Semoball Awards finalist and made the All-Missourian team for the second straight year. The 6-foot-3 senior shot 63.8 percent from the field, including 47 percent on 3-pointers. He was 58.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Lewis and Clark is located in Godfrey, Illinois.
