Notre Dame's Blake Bauwens signed to play basketball at Lindenwood-Belleville on Wednesday.

Bauwens, who just graduated from Notre Dame, was an All-Missourian selection the last two years. He was also a SEMO All-Conference and all-district selection this past season. The 6-foot guard has set school records with 3-pointers made in a game (eight), season (71) and career (147).

This past season, Bauwens averaged 15.5 points, 4.1 assists and 3 steals per game. He shot 52 percent from the field, including 33 percent on 3-pointers, and 76 percent from the free-throw line.

Bauwens was also a Semoball Awards finalist in soccer this past season, but the midfielder doesn't plan to play soccer in college.

Lindenwood-Belleville is located in Belleville, Illinois. The Lynx are an NAIA program. They went 14-16 this past season and did not qualify for the conference tournament.
