Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament seeds released

The seeds for the 2017 Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament were determined Sunday at the Isle Casino Cape Girardeau.

Cape Girardeau Central (5-1) was awarded the top seed with 13 of 16 first-place votes. The head coaches of the 16 tournament teams determined the seeding by voting. Coaches could not vote for their own team.

The seedings are listed below with the team's vote total listed in parenthesis, followed by its current record. Coaches couldn't vote for their own team. (Update: Teams voted one-by-one on seeding, starting with the top overall spot.)
