Chaffee's Carlie Milz signs with Central Methodist University

Chaffee junior first baseman Carlie Milz signed to play softball at Central Methodist University on Friday.
Milz was a Class 1 all-state selection this fall, batting .392 with 46 RBIs and 34 runs scored. She had an .456 on-base percentage and .804 slugging percentage with 10 doubles, one triple and 10 home runs, including a two-run home run in a Class 1 quarterfinal victory.
Milz helped lead the Red Devils to a fourth-place finish in Class 1, giving Chaffee a walk-off win in a Class 1 sectional.
Central Methodist University is located in Fayette, Missouri, and is a NAIA program. The Eagles went 26-22 last season.
