Eagle Ridge's Nemanja Tosic signs with Southeastern Illinois College

Eagle Ridge Christian School senior Nemanja Tosic signed to play basketball at Southeastern Illinois College on Tuesday.
Tosic, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 26 points and 13 rebounds per game for the Eagles, en route to earning first-team Class 2 all-state honors in the Missouri Christian Schools Athletic Association. He was also a first-team selection in the Metro Athletic Conference.
Tosic came to America from Serbia as a junior and scored over 1,000 seasons in two years at Eagle Ridge. He was a first-team all-state and all-conference pick as a junior.
Southeastern Illinois is based in Harrisburg, Illinois. Its junior college basketball program has won numerous conference and region championships and in 2008 advanced to the quarterfinals at the national junior college tournament.
