Spring softball all-state released

The 2018 spring softball all-state teams were released recently.

Eight area players were named to the first or second team. Scott City's Kaileigh Dirden, Malden's Lana Reed, Oran's Kaylee Payne and Clearwater's Halle Gooch were named first team all-state.

Bernie's Alyson Marcum, Clearwater's Rachel Rowold, Malden's Alexis Campbell and Kennett's Whitnee Duncan all made the second team. The full team is listed below
