SEMO Conference baseball Tournament bracket released

The bracket for the SEMO Conference baseball Tournament was released Wednesday morning. Notre Dame earned the top seed and Jackson was seeded second. Poplar Bluff rounded out the top three in the eight-team tournament.

Notre Dame and Jackson shared the conference regular-season title with identical 6-1 conference records. Tiebreakers were not used.

The quarterfinal games are Friday and will be hosted by the higher seed. For example, top-seeded Notre Dame hosts No. 8 New Madrid County Central.

Semifinals and consolation semifinals are Saturday at Capaha Field, and seventh-place, consolation, third-place and championship games are Monday at Capaha Field.
