* The Bell City boys beat Clarkton 81-78 in a meeting of state-ranked Class 1 teams that came together after the Bell City-Scott City game was snowed out last week.
Nick Niemczyk scored 35 points for Bell City before fouling out for the first time in his high school basketball career. * Kelly nearly quadrupled Delta in an 85-22 decision. * Scott County Central defeated New Madrid County Central 61-46 in a makeup from last week. Caleb Johnson scored 21 points to lead the Braves. * In girls basketball, Dexter turned back Cape Central 58-42. Four players scored in double figures for the Bearcats, who remained unbeaten in the SEMO Conference by pulling away from a 24-19 halftime advantage.
* The Notre Dame girls won the Show Me Conference swim meet in Perryville, paced by Brittany Menz's win in the 200 freestyle and two relay victories. The Bulldogs also had top-four finishes from Ava Andersson (2), Jackie Bader (2), Lauren Castleman (2), diver Samantha Schaefer, Abigail Messmer, Jenny Brant and Auderey Glover. Menz also was second in the 100 breaststoke.
