Northeast has beaten Delta here in the Class 1 title game at Mizzou Arena. Read Saturday's Southeast Missourian for coverage of this game and Scott County's third-place finish.

Northeast is in control heading into the fourth with a 20-point lead
Northeast 36, Delta 14, 4:13 left in the third quarter
Northeast continues to pull away, now leading by 22 points midway through the third.
Northeast 25, Delta 11, halftime
Delta appeared to making a little run to get back into the ballgame, cutting the deficit to 10 points with 54 seconds left before the break. But Northeast went on a 4-0 run over the last 34 seconds of the second period to head into halftime with a 14-point lead at 25-11. Stay tuned for more second-half coverage.

Well, the Bobcats have had a better second quarter, putting nine points on the board. Still, they are trailing by 12 and mssing a lot of high-percentage shots.
Northeast 14, Delta 0, end of first
Delta has not even been close with most of its shots. It will have to pick up the pace in the second quarter, handle the ball better and just relax when shooting.
