Scott Central held on in a rematch against Bell City, surviving a missed three-point shot at the buzzer to win 85-82.

Jackson lost to Belleville, (Ill.) Althoff 68-57 while Perryville defeated rival Chester 45-41.

A wonderful profile of Tyler Hansbrough appears in Sunday's Post-Dispatch. Hansbrough's North Carolina Tar Heels travel to St. Louis on Friday night to play the Billikens.

"It's going to be like a Christmas present to Poplar Bluff," Hansbrough's mother, Tammy, told the paper.
