We have several stories from Saturday's Heartland Hoopfest in Perryville.
Scott Central held on in a rematch against Bell City, surviving a missed three-point shot at the buzzer to win 85-82.
Jackson lost to Belleville, (Ill.) Althoff 68-57 while Perryville defeated rival Chester 45-41.

Another interesting matchup took place Friday night in Sikeston. The Battle of the Bulldogs is our semoball game of the week.
A wonderful profile of Tyler Hansbrough appears in Sunday's Post-Dispatch. Hansbrough's North Carolina Tar Heels travel to St. Louis on Friday night to play the Billikens.
