SEMO football has received more national attention from a high-profile publication.
Senior running back Henry Harris is among the Faces in the Crowd of Sports Illustrated's Nov. 22 issue that hit newsstands today. SEMO's remarkable turnaround season was recently featured in an article in USA Today. Faces in the Crowd, which appears weekly in Sports Illustrated, briefly highlights individual accomplishments by athletes from across the nation. Harris is among six athletes featured on the Faces in the Crowd page of the current Sports Illustrated. The 10th-ranked Redhawks, who, finished the regular season 9-2 overall and 7-1 in OVC play -- they can do no worse than tie for the program's first OVC title -- will learn their postseason fate Sunday when the FCS playoff field and pairings are announced at 9 a.m. on ESPNU. The public is invited to join the Redhawks to watch the FCS selection show at Outback Steakhouse. Doors open at 8:40 a.m. There is no admission charge but a breakfast buffet and beverages will be available for $10.
