Finally, the day baseball fans have been waiting for is upon us. It's OPENING DAY!!! The GREAT Countdown is finally down to zero.

I just finished watching "Field of Dreams," and I plan to pick my daughter up from day care early and return home around 12:30 or so to watch the pregame show for Cubs opening day.

Some friends and I started the tradition of watching "Field of Dreams" the night before opening day. We'd watch the movie, then make the trek down to Wrigley Field to catch the Cubs' first home game. Now I've decided that my daughter will get out of school early every year for opening day. It's my national holiday.
