Who ya got? Mizzou vs. Rams

So I've been mulling over this for a couple of days now, and I'd like the opinion of others. If the Rams and Mizzou played, who would win?
I'm usually not a fan of questions like these because a team of professionals in most instances would wipe out a college team. But here's the thing about this one -- Mizzou's strength is the Rams' weakness. The Tigers' offense is potent, there's no two ways about it. They have the ability to score a lot of points in a short amount of time. Chase Daniel is accurate and the Rams' secondary is porous at best. So then it probably comes down to whether or not the Tigers' offensive line could give Daniel enough time to throw, but since the Rams have trouble covering anyone, I think Daniel could get off throws.
I think the Rams' offense would have little trouble scoring against the Tigers, so now we've got a shootout. Let's compare the special teams, and I like Jeremy Maclin over Dante Hall. A few years ago, Hall was the best in the business at returning kicks. Times have changes, and I like Maclin more.
It will never happen, but if it did, which team from the Show-Me State would emerge victorious?
Throne of Honor All right, it's back by popular demand (I'm looking at you budman). Here's the way it works: I offer up a trivia question and the first person to post the correct answer earns the respect and admiration of thousands, or all those who take the time to check out the blog. So without any further ado, here's today's question: Name the mascot of the Division I university that shares the name of the town of residence for the man whose bating average this blog followed religiously last season.
Reserved Parking The high school season is in full swing again, which means there are plenty of choices. We're going to honor Delta softball pitcher Kendra Burnett. She put together another impressive day in the circle. She struck out 16 over nine innings to help the Bobcats post the win. Congrats, Kendra, you get to pull into the prime parking space today.
Triple Crown watch As usual, Al Pujols is enjoying a successful season. So for the remainder of the season, we'll follow his statistics and what he needs to do to win the coveted Triple Crown. It's not likely to happen, but we'll follow it anyway. Average -- .361 (up two points on Chipper Jones); RBIs -- 98 (Down 27 to Ryan Howard) ; Homers -- 33 (Down eight to Ryan Howard).
What a ballgame I wasn't pleased with the outcome, but the Cards/Cubs game lived up to the billing as important playoff-atmosphere baseball. If you're Kyle Lohse, how much are you loving this season? He might have been upset he wasn't sought after during the offseason, but that figures to change at the end of this season. It's hard to say what he's going to do. Will he try a Jeff Weaver and say he can walk away and have this kind of success elsewhere, or will he sign with the Cardinals? Interesting stuff.
Tonight we've got Braden Looper going against Ted Lilly. Looper took a no decision last time he faced the Cubs, going seven innings and allowing two earned runs. He looked sharp last time out, so we'll see if he can repeat that performance. As for Lilly, he looked like a Little Leaguer facing big leaguers last time out. He lasted two innings and gave up five runs. He earned a no decision last time against the Cardinals, going 7 1/3 innings and giving up two runs. If I look at the game objectively, the Cardinals definitely have the advantage. Let's see if tonight can live up to last night. There is one thing we can agree upon -- Go Reds!

MIZZOU!
Oh yeah, no way Pujols wins the triple crown. Maybe a batting title though. I heard he's going to have offseason surgery on his elbow which would sideline him for all of next season.
I assume you are talking about Ryan Ludwick who lives in St. Louis...Therefore the D1 school would be St. Louis University whose mascot is the Billiken.
