The St. Vincent girls soccer team cruised into the Class 1 state championship game with a resounding 4-1 win over St. Pius X of Kansas City.
The Indians scored 30 seconds into the game and enjoyed a 2-1 lead at halftime. They added two more goals in the second half to earn a trip to the title game. Emily Cissell scored twice, while Kayla Seabaugh and Liz Brueckner had one apiece. Check out Saturday's Southeast Missourian for photos and stories from the game. |
