Cards land DeRosa

The AP is reporting that the Cardinals traded for Mark DeRosa.

According to the report, the Cardinals gave up Chris Perez and a player to be named later. This is a great trade for the Cardinals. DeRosa can play almost anywhere and adds some pop to the lineup.

Where have you been Kevin? You have been rather quiet in regards to your Cubbies. Is it tough to talk about them whenever they are imploding?

The Cards had no idea he would get hurt. It still was a smart deal. Did anyone get to see Perez' first outing for Cleveland? Wow!

DeRosa is all rite?? He's got 50 RBIs. Thats more than Ankiel, Duncan and Ludwick combined!

Hes a great guy to have hitting second in the order. I would take him over an unprove and inconsistent set up man all day. We will not misss Perez.
