Nice catch Brent
Brent Little's first professional catch was a dream come true Thursday night. Playing in his hometown (he was born and raised in Kansas City before moving to Poplar Bluff), on national TV, Little helped set up a last-second play trying to win the game. His one catch for 17 yards also stopped the clock at 3 seconds left by getting out of bounds. That set up a Hail Mary from the Chiefs 37 that was knocked down.
The Chiefs lost to the Dolphins 11-10.
You could see Brent on the sidelines as coach Herm Edwards paced up and down the field.
The Chiefs are back in Kansas City for the rest of training camp and host New Orleans at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 before traveling to St. Louis for the final preseason game Aug. 30.
New headshot?
This time of year we always have to update our headshots for columns, but as we've noted on here before, I usually look goofy.
Here's what my headshot would look like in the Springfield Shopper (above). You can get yours here.
