Class 4 District softball moved
The MSHSAA Class 4 District 1 softball tournament will move across town to Three Rivers Community College for today's first round. The field at Bacon Park has not dried out so the first round will be played today at Rains Field instead.
Also, the Poplar Bluff Sports Hall of Fame induction banquet will be held tonight.
The event honoring Mary Kalich and Tracy Edington will take place Thursday, Oct. 9 at the 5th & 6th Grade Center. Tickets are $12 and are available at the door.
Always a fun night (and a good meal) but I may not be able to make it with PBHS softball hosting districts (I'll update if that changes).
Also, here's the schedule for the Three Rivers men's basketball scrimmages at the Bess Activity Center on Saturday.
10:00 a.m. Three Rivers vs. Lindenwood
11:45 a.m. Mineral Area vs. College of the Ozarks
1:30 p.m. Mineral Area vs. Lindenwood
3:00 p.m. Three Rivers vs. College of the Ozarks
