Hansbrough injury; Mules fall
West Plains ended Poplar Bluff's season 31-6. Tommy Meyer rushed for 223 yards on 32 carries and the Zizzers offense had the ball for nearly 31 minutes at Morrow Stadium.
Poplar Bluff's Zach Ferguson reached 1,000 yards for the second straight season with a 66-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He finished with 117 yards on the night, 1,078 for the year and has 2,191 for his career. That's 1,023 yards shy of the school record set by Austin Tinsley.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) _ North Carolina forward Tyler Hansbrough has a stress reaction condition in his right shin and will sit out practice indefinitely.Coach Roy Williams announced Hansbrough's injury in a statement released late Thursday night.
The statement said Hansbrough did not practice on Thursday, and that an MRI revealed the stress reaction.
There is no timetable for his return and no further information was available. Williams was expected to have a statement on Friday after meeting with Hansbrough and the UNC medical staff.
The 6-foot-9 Hansbrough averaged 22.6 points and 10.2 rebounds last season and helped the Tar Heels reach the Final Four, where they lost in the semifinals to Kansas.
The Poplar Bluff, Mo., native has played in all 108 games in his first three years in Chapel Hill.
