Bernie-Cooter ppd. until TuesdayPosted Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at 8:37 AM
UPDATE **
The Bernie-Cooter game will NOT be played at Cooter. Bernie AD Brad Botsch called to say they're looking for a place to play.
Bernie and Cooter moved to Malden to play Monday's MSHSAA Class 1 sectional playoff but rain and lightning made it clear they weren't going to play. Both teams are looking for a place to play Tuesday, time to be determined. Clearwater and Senath-Hornersville were stopped in the fifth inning at Malden for nearly an hour when I left the field. DAR's Rob Tate said lightning stopped the game with Senath leading 2-1. Senath won 3-1, Rob will have a full story in Tuesday's DAR. |
