Mules-Kennett, rescheduled

Posted Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at 9:45 PM

UPDATE: The game has been rescheduled for Feb. 15 at Kennett.

Poplar Bluff's boys basketball game at Kennett scheduled for tonight (Jan. 8) has been postponed, PBHS Athletic Director Jim Brown said this morning. Both schools were in session today, but Brown said the game was to be rescheduled after the death of a Kennett student.

The Mules are scheduled to play Tuesday at Doniphan.

The Lady Mules will play their first home game Saturday, JV tipoff at 2 p.m., against Parkway West. Brown said the game is still on after speaking with West's coaching staff today.

A senior student at Kennett has passed away. Please no negative comments regarding the cancellation. It is the RIGHT decision. Just prayers for family and Kennett.
