TRCC to honor Bess

Posted Friday, February 5, 2010, at 10:19 PM

Three Rivers Community College coach Gene Bess recently won his 1,100th game and the school will honor him Saturday night before the Raiders play State Fair (about 6:45 p.m.)

The DAR published a six-page special section in the Friday edition.

Also on Saturday, the Mules host Cape Central for homecoming and the Ozark Foothills Conference Tournament starts in Doniphan. It will be a busy night of basketball, enjoy.

I would love to be at both gymnasiums at Poplar Bluff. I will probably attend the high school game. I'll read the six-page special section later tonight.
