South Side 72, B.T. Washington 67
Chris McNeal's personal 6-point run with less than 3 minutes to play put the Hawks ahead for good before he hit 3-of-4 free throws in the final 22 seconds to seal the win.
South Side (12-1) led by as many as 13 early in the second half, but Booker T. Washington rallied with a 12-0 run. The Warriors (7-3) were within 49-46 at the start of the fourth quarter and pulled ahead on Angelo Smith's reverse layin off a pass from Tyree Beason with 5:48 left.
Jermarcus Franklin, who led BTW with 19 points, nine assists and six steals, put his team up 60-57 with 3:42 left.
Jaylen Barford, who scored a game-high 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting, answered with a putback and Malik Hicks got a steal leading to McNeal's go-ahead basket with 2:57 to play.
The Warriors then missed a 3 and the long rebound to McNeal, who later scored. McNeal added a fastbreak layin after Terrickon Smith's steal to put the Hawks up 65-60.
South Side got four straight free throws by Barford before McNeal's free throws in the final minute to close out the win.
McNeal had 19 points while Hicks add 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Derwin Fitch scored 15 and led the Warriors with six rebounds.
There were six lead changes and five ties. South Side scored 10 straight in the second quarter to build a 38-27 halftime lead.

Forrest City 77, Liberty Tech 56
Trey Thompson recorded a double-double in 15 minutes, and the Mustangs scored 29 points off turnovers to win.
R.J. Glasper scored 15 points while Thompson added 14 points to go with 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks for Forrest City (5-3).
Liberty Tech (4-4) was led by 15 points off the bench from Ashton Willis.
The Mustangs closed the first quarter on a 5-0 swing then put together a 13-3 run to start the second to go up 14.
Trenton Steen's steal and layin put Forrest City up 21-12 with 6:13 left in the half. Following a missed 3 by Tech, Thompson got an offensive rebound leading to R.J. Glasper Jr.'s 3 for a 24-12 advantage.
The lead grew to 42-23 by halftime and by as much as 31 in the second half.
Tech took a 3-2 lead on Kendell Walker's 3 but the Mustangs scored the next six points. Another 3 by Walker gave the Crusaders an 11-10 lead with 3:22 left in the opening quarter but they went the next 4:05 without scoring.
Forrest City went ahead on Thompson's tip-in off a lob pass with 1:57 left in the opening quarter and was ahead 15-11 going into the second.

Poplar Bluff 69, Soldan 39
Stacy Gipson led the Mules with 19 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks while Chris Stocks chipped in 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
Cortlen Brooks led Soldan with eight points while Cristian Simms, Juwuan Jefferson and Jervonta Jones each chipped in seven points.
The Mules took the lead when Brandon Stuckenschneider hit a 3 with 3:10 left in the opening quarter to break a 9-all tie.
That started a 7-point run and Poplar Bluff led 16-9 heading into the second quarter.
Soldan got within 18-16 on Jaylin Swan's 3 at the 5:21 mark but Brandon Stuckenschneider got another 3 to answer.
Poplar Bluff then ended the half on a 15-3 run after Soldan's Jefferson scored at the 4:48 mark. Gipson later got a steal, scoring in transition before Joseph Eyler forced a five-second defensive call. Gipson scored again off a pass from Stocks, who set up Shannon Woods on a fastbreak layin for a 27-18 lead.
Simms ended Soldan's drought after nearly 3 minutes but the Tigers went the final 1:55 without scoring.
Gipson got a dunk off an ally-oop pass from Stocks, who later added a free throw. The Mules ended the half with consecutive 3s by Patrick Tillman and Malik Metcalf for a 36-21 lead.
Poplar Bluff opened the second half with a 20-5 run to pull away.

Grenada 82, Union City 51
Joniah White recorded a triple-double to lead the Chargers. The 6-foot-11 senior scored 20 points to go with 11 rebounds and 11 blocks in just over 25 minutes.
Tyrin Jones led the Chargers with 29 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including all five of his 3-point shots, to go with six assists. Trevaris Spencer aded 15 points.
Union City was led by 19 points from Marcus Deberry but the Golden Tornadoes shot just 28.6 percent from the field.
Grenada ended the first quarter on a 10-2 run. It started with a 3 by Spencer with 3 1/2 minutes left. Jones also added a 3 in the run which gave the Chargers a 21-10 lead.
The margin grew to 30 midway through the second as Grenada put together a 12-2 run. Jones capped it with a four-point play, hitting a 3 from the corner and the ensuing free throw. White's putback gave the Chargers a 35-15 lead and he later added an ally-oop dunk to highlight a strong first half.
Grenada led 47-22 at the break and by as many as 34 points.
