Charleston will open the season tonight hosting Portageville. The JV game is set for 4:30pm and Varsity should start around 6:30pm. If you're in the area come out and enjoy opening night at Hillhouse Park. 80 degress=perfection.

I think you hit the scheduling of the games perfect. I KNOW there are many Sikeston fans that would love to watch the Bulldogs play, but can't get off work at 4 to watch. By 5 o'clock, they have missed half of the game. 4:30 is a great time for the JV to play and 6:30 is a great time for the varsity to play. Then, even the folks that get off work at 5 would only miss a couple of innings of the JV game and would get to see the whole varisty game. For the life of me, I can't understand why Sikeston won't change its home games to a similar format. Actually, I know why....I'll just leave it at that. Good luck this season, coach!
