The SE Rippers 11U travel baseball team took 2nd place in the Cape Summer Slam tourney over the weekend at the Shawnee Sports Complex. The Rippers went 2-0 in pool play, outscoring opponents 30-0. After posting a 14-6 victory in the semifinal on Sunday, the Rippers lost a rain-shortened game to McCracken County 5-2.
