Is there a rivalry here or something? None of us know a thing about Festus and Farmington has proven overrated.

Tuesday's game will be the first time since December 2005 the two teams have played. in 2005 at the Park Hills Christmas Tournament there was a racial incident on the court between the two that turned ugly. Both schools have not played since. Farmington is beating most everyone by 30 points and beat DeSoto by 1 at that same tournament referenced. Festus starts 5 Juniors and is 6-6 with one of the losses a 2 point loss to DeSoto. Later in February, Cape Central will travel to Festus and play in a Saturday afternoon game.

Whiteandblack, what's the status on Grindel?

Grindel is Good to Go! He will lead the onslaught of the Tigers!!!

I have not seen either team play. I have read a little about Farmington and saw that they only beat Desoto by 1 in that christmas tourney. I heard their best player got hurt and lost by 25 or something like that. Let me go to that story real quick then I will pick my prediction. Farmington lost their best player and lost by 25???? So is Farmington relying on this player too much????? I think that that will fit into Sikeston's game plan when we play them coming up and we will exploit that real early in that game. You cant win a basketball game with one player. As we have all heard since little league..there is no "I" in T-E-A-M.

Well, Festus has a .500 record. Only losing by 2 against Desoto. I call for an upset with Festus at home beating Farmington by 5. it will be a close game but home team and the fact that Farmington might be just a slight bit overrated.

Just saw where Farmington is down 21 to Vianney. I'm not sure how good Vianney is but if your team is down 21 to anyone, I don't know if it would be best to be predicting blowouts. I say DeSoto has officially taken the spot as favorite in this district.

I remember on semosportsweb where the farmington fans were saying how much better they'd be then sikeston..

I'm a Sikeston homer.....but from my vantage point it sounds like Sikeston is starting to rev it's engine and Farmington's engine is knocking a little. I think the Sikeston faithful thougthat the Dogs would do this all along...at least I did. They had to get their bball legs. I think that process is coming to fruition. January, February, and hopefully March should be a fun time to be. Bulldogs fan.

Oh....to answer the question on the thread......I have no idea!

Gosh, i dislike farmington more and more everytime I get on here. The question is, how bad will Festus beat Farmington? Will Festus have a running clock against them??? Looks like Farmington is starting to fall apart to me. Not at a good time.
