I believe it's the first week in February and it's at Kennett. Not sure about when the seeding will be done
In the recent article in the Daily Dunklin Democrat it says the tourney is Jan. 31 -- Feb. 4 at Kennett. Also Kennett has already locked up the number 1 seed.
I think the seeds for the varsity tournament are going to end up...
1. Kennett
2. Caruthersville
3. Portageville
4. Malden
5. Hayti
6. Senath-Hornersville
7. South Pemiscot
I my have to get down to Kennett and watch the semi's, there are going to be some good potential rematches.
Kennett v. Malden - Kennett undoubtably has more talent but somehow Malden played them close earlier and they are coming off a good win against Hayti.
P'ville v. C'ville - Two of the better bootheel teams, this one will be a battle. C'ville just won 76-71, but P'ville is a team that always improves as the season goes.
