ND v. Dexter
Posted by semo2014 on Wed, Feb 3, 2010, at 10:02 PM:

I've heard ND will play Dexter due to an earlier cancellation, this coming Monday, for the top seed in the Class 4, District 1 tournament, which is pretty big. Can anyone confirm this.

Don't know that it's necessarily for the top seed. It's going to be between Sikeston and ND, and while ND has the win over Sikeston, Sikeston has the better record, so who knows how it will turn out.

It is true that the teams will be making up their game from earlier this season at 6 p.m. on Monday.

Overall record does not go into the seeding unless it is a tie I think so if ND wins they get the top seed.

I agree if Notre Dame wins the game they will get the top seed in the district tournament. I do not think Dexter will get the top seed if they win the game. I haven't heard what time the game starts.

I believe that because ND did beat Sikeston that they will be the top seed. If Dexter would somehow win that game then I think Sikeston would get the top seed.

I don't think that who gets the 1 seed will affect the outcome of the tournament too much. Either way, it's going to be 1 vs. 2 for a DC.

Anything can happen in March. Over the years, I've seen more upsets in March than any month with the exception of December. In my opinion, the first month of the season and the last month of the season are the most difficult months to predict.

The first seed gets a little easier schedule not much, but who knows like drawmules said anything can happen.
