After attending the game I saw it, watched it and couldnt believe it. 21-0 on a State Ranked Team, 28 points in the first quarter, 303 yrds Offense in 1 quarter and all sorts of amazing stats, raises questions:
If the Cape Central Tigers are so much better than years past, which they are, How much better are the Sikeston Bulldogs this year over last?
Bro...7 points in the first Qtr. Not 200 yds of offense in the First.
Sikeston's line....good
Dome...maybe
All-American...no, All-State...yes

Those stats were taken from games all season.

For who? Those Sikestons D stats?

Trey Lewis all-american? You've got to be kidding me. He is not the best quarterback in this area, Zach Hibbets is, Trey is the best athlete in this area.

Wow something that I actually agree with you on, before thursday I thought last years team was better but that all changed, they lost some key players but filled them in very nicely.

Putting the cart in front of the horse a bit here, but I think SemoSports brings up an interesting point. Last year Sikeston lost a ton of talented players to graduation: Wiggins, Jackson, Dixon, Carlyle and Wims to name a few. Most thought it would be difficult for Sikeston to reload. After this season they will lose Lewis, Porter, Howard, Pulley and Clark among others. Who will step up? Will Sikeston be able to fill those gaps with playmakers next year?

I really thought there was no way Sikeston could even come close to being as good as last year but i think they may be better than last year. It will be harder to replace this years seniors. They will still have a pretty good team next year just not as good as the past two years.

They lose a lost of key players this year, but so does everyone else, they could very easily go 10-0 next year too, considering the other teams..

How good is Sikeston's Line?
Can they get to the Dome?
Is Trey Lewis an All-American?
