i heard some very sad news this morning regarding the passing of a very prominent and longtime figure in charleston athletics. i'll not say anymore until someone from charleston confirms it, but it's terrible news indeed.
It is with great sadness that I'll pass on information out of Charleston. Coach Dan Kesselring, longtime coach, teacher, and friend passed away this morning. "Coach Kess" as he was known to everyone was a true gentleman and leader in this area. I pray that god touches his wife and kids and gives them comfort in this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear it. I worked with Coach Kesselring during college doing some of my field work in my education degree. He was a class act. My sympathy to his family.

Dan was a lot of fun. I'm sure he is still laughing at me as we fished together one day and he got to see me fall out of the boat. Great coach as well as a great guy,Will miss him.
