Hey Rocket or sideline---Is the new qb at SEMO the same kid that played against Sikeston in the playoffs? I heard he's from Warrenton.

Yep....that's him, bullet. Kind of ironic, huh?

Yep..It's a small world. I'm ready for some football!

Please don't remind me.

I'm ready for some football, too! Dog...it does open up some sore wounds, doesn't it?? Ha!

You guys were definitely better than them. Not sure Webb City wouldn't have still won it all, but you should have been there.

I agree with both of those, bullet. We were better, but you have to give them credit. They didn't quit and they made plays at the crucial time and we didn't. If we played them 10 times, I think we would have beaten them 7-8 times. But...we didn't that day. Regarding Webb....they would have beaten us too. I would like to think that we could have given them a better game, but the end result would have been the same.

I guess the fact that, Sikeston fans and most other objective fans, think that we were better than Warrenton is what makes that loss so hard to take. And....how it happened.

I agree about Webb City, they were just too good, but I would have loved to see the Dogs get a chance in the dome for the championship. I also think they would have made it a better game against Webb City. If I remember right, WC set a record in that game against Warrenton!

Sorry that I've been MIA Bullet. Work has been a hassle. Yes, Lathrop is the kid from Warrenton. I still believe we were the better team but they won it on that day. No way we would have defeated Webb City though. That was Warrenton's moment but I think we are going to prove to be the more consistent program when looking back over the period of Gibbs. Also, we do get a "taste" of the Dome against Farmington in Week 4 which will be fun.
