Dexter did loose! I watched Dexter play Friday night they are young and there O line and D line are small! There QB is tough but average at best! Does not throw ball well at all but runs hard! RBs are slow they do have a play maker at WR but He's a baseball player who's dad told me word for word Friday night hes only playing cause his friends pressured him and he's got a full ride to some college in Tenn and does not want to get hurt especially cause he's got a good chance to get Drafted!! No your just looking for people to talk about Dexter cause everyone hyped them up and they got Man handled and now all is quiet in Camp Bearcat!!! I guess it's true what they say Bad press is better then No press!!!

Not everyone hyped them up Bleed. Just one or two and they were blinded by over the top enthusiasm. The Bearcats will have a tough time going 5-5 this year probably getting a 5-7 seed in the districts after the completion of the 9 game season. Knowing Coach Pixley he will have them in much better shape come later October and early November. My bet is that Bearcats101 is not from Dexter.
Exactly who hyped Dexter up, Bleed Green? I myself said they would probably go 5-4, maybe 6-3. And you're a real classy guy getting on here ripping our kids! That average QB of ours that torched your secondary 4-5 times?! That slow running back that averaged 5 yds. a carry? Don't forget that just a season ago, we put a pretty good hurting on your Dragons. Where were you then? Our linemen are not small compared to most schools; Ste. Gen just happens to have a unusually large group of boys this year. You have your hands full this week with Valle. Why don't you focus on that BG and we'll see you again in November.
From what I hear bluff is "coming for blood" haha
Our kids are pretty fired up too Tigers2638. Not only because its a big rivalry game, but because they feel they have something to prove after the bad loss at Ste. Gen.

(Then again....I have absolutely ZERO bragging rights in regards to PH & SG's last meeting! I figured that I'd throw my two cents into the conversation just to get on Bleed Green's nerves!)
I'm not ripping your kids I said he dosnt throw the ball good! I even said he ran HARD!!! Your RB is slow I'm sorry I'm not ripping him I didn't attack him as a person I said he was slow! I am not attacking these kids you might wanna talk to your own fans about that!! And as far as your QB shredding up our Secondary your starters maybe had 120 yards total offense on our Starting D you only had 200 plus against our whole team which most of that was against JV!! And if we see u again I'm sure it will be the same out come!!
the rest of the district should just go ahead and concede and send SB on to the quarter finals.
Bleed Green, you should not get on any public forum and criticize specific players or their performance, esp. on the basis of one game and the first game of the season at that. Remember that these are high school kids! Nor should you be revealing the details of personal conversations that may create internal problems on the team. Or maybe that was your intention in the first place? And what are you doing on the visitor's side anyway? Wear out your welcome with the home crowd?
As I said, we'll see you again in November. And before you crow too loudly about winning the rematch, remember 2010?
Tell me how I was putting these kids down! I said he was average and RB was slow! And all I said was what was told to me by a certain WR father! Do I agree no I don't I think he was wrong! I hope Dexter does get better! Ithis is an open forum If I was putting down players I'm sure that the person running this site would let me know! I am not I simply gave my opinion mine thats all! Maybe you shouldnt worry about what I say and worry about what your own fans were saying! And for standing were I stand it's easier to see over a 4' chain link fence then a 5' concrete wall plus it's closer to field! I don't bother anyone he came up to me complaining and I just listened!!! Oh and ya I remember 2010 Dexter really improved from game 1 to game 11 I think I said in a early report that Dexter is known for getting better! And I hope they do!! Good luck Friday!!!
I just re read my post I said he dosnt throw ball well and line is small and RB are slow!! Please someone tell me how that's putting down a kid!! If he's slow he's slow dosnt mean he's not good! I said he dosnt throw ball well and he's average!! He's only a junior he will improve but as now he does those things! That's the problem with most people they want to put kids in a box and protect them from any criticism!! If you feel I was attacking I am truly sorry I was not not at all!! I also said he was tough!! And I stand by that he played with a lot of heart and played well!
In Bleed's defense, when someone asks what you think of a team and saying things like the QB is slow, can't scramble, or the line is small and such is not a personal attack on a particular kid. However I do see how someone could take it personally when YOU are the QB, RB or whatever.
I don't think some things said here are any worse than what a coach would say to the kids in practice.
My advise to kids looking at this forum: Don't take such criticism personally, people are comparing you with other players they've seen, nothing more. Use it to improve your play. If folks are seeing something obvious, working on it now will pay off for you at the end of the year.
If someone crosses the line, they will be beaten with a wet noodle....
Well said Mojo!! My goal this year is try to be more positive! I know last year I attacked and talked some crap but I don't wanna do that! I wanna be more positive! I think haha!!
Mojo3, the difference is what a coach says to a kid about his mistakes is said in practice and not in a public forum like this. Criticize a team if you want, but not specific kids. Everyone (coaches included) should remember we are talking about high school kids! And Bleed Green, if you're trying to be positive, try a little harder!
That's funny cause I sure heard a few not so positives coming from your coaches mouths during the game! Some I can't say cause I promised I wouldn't swear on here anymore!! I'm done with this I wasn't bashing on anyone! Bottom line! Like I said good luck against Bluff!! And for trying harder I will but not for the likes of you!!!!!
You won't hear any defense from me for any adult, coach or not, cursing at a kid for any reason. Re-read by previous post. But does that justify what you said? And whoever asked you to try harder to please me? I just reminded you to remember these are high school kids you are criticizing in a public forum.
I understand that! But I didn't mean it as a slam on any one individual I was just stating my opinions on what I saw! Heck I saw things With SG as well! I do believe that I'd coach Pixley knew what Coach Weiler had up his sleeve it could have been a different game! Dexter players looked like Deer in headlights the first half! They never could get the right personal in the field!
We can agree on that. That did catch everyone off guard with Ste. Gen not coming out in their traditional spread offense. They even ran it in their jamboree the week before. 3 weeks of prep out the window! I imagine it even surprised you and the other Ste. Gen faithful BG!

Yes it did! And let me say I know a lot of SG fans were happy to see it!! It is a Dexter Bluff topic but we got off track oops!! Now back to topic!y buddy Mack who lives in bluff says Bluff looked really good Friday night! They got some size on them and some really good skilled players! That's why I picked Blyff by 24 but if it rains like Its suppose to do you can throw that our the window!!!
Bluff will be the favorite to win the game, but remember that Union turned the ball over 6 times! We had only one legit turnover against a very strong Ste. Gen defense. I don't think we'll suddenly get that sloppy in one week. Of course, the weather could have something to say about that if its as rainy as many fear. So I look for a close, hard-fought game between two big rivals. I think Dexter wins a squeaker at home.
