Portageville and NMCC have not played since the 1985-86 season which was attended by several thousand fans!

Should be interesting!

If Portageville beats Scott City they clinch the conference title. Also if my sources are correct I believe this will be Portageville's homecoming game. That could be viewed as a good thing or a bad thing for Pville. Hopefully they can keep their heads straight and bring home a conference title.

Both programs have outstanding football coaches. Would Portageville benefit from losing a game before the playoffs? In most cases I would argue a team should never enter postseason undefeated if it can be avoided. However, in this case the No. 1 seed in the district may be more valuable.

Why would you not want to be undefeated? This is highschool football and when people say losing a game is good, well there just looking for something positive to say.

ya Portageville looks great this year and they have a lot of different ways they can score. they have a lot of good people on the team and they are gonna be tough to beat they should go pretty far hands down..

46-0.. Nmcc. That shows you how weak your scheduling is. And also shows when NMCC plays their starting 11. How good them kids can play! And they don't brag about "being the best running group, or, getting in ours"!
