Sideline---What are your thoughts on how Sikeston will beat Jackson? As I said on another post I haven't seen you guys play yet but did see the Jackson/Cape game...I know you'll have more team speed.
-- Posted by bulletman on Mon, Sep 24, 2012, at 1:32 PM
Lots of speed and a great defense are the keys for Sikeston to me Bullet. I do not see this being a high scoring game. So Sikeston will have to minimize mistakes on offense, be patient, and wait for that moment when they are able to breakaway for a TD. On defense, it will be tough due to that spread Jackson runs and the fact that Proffer can hurt you on the ground and Selsor can through the air. However, the defense has really done well at disrupting the passer and forcing bad throws while the defensive backs and linebackers are ballhawks especially Aundrea Golden. I think if either team hits three touchdowns, they will probably win. Gonna be a fun game.

-- Posted by Cheesehead. on Mon, Sep 24, 2012, at 3:45 PM
I think if Sikeston can take care of the ball, they have a great chance at winning. Jackson had trouble last friday protecting the ball as well. This game could come down to who has less turnovers. Sikeston will definitely have more speed but a very good team can negate that with solid play. For Sikeston, I'm worried about the QB position. This will be his first BIG game playing at the QB spot. How will he handle adversity if there is any? Lot's of if's, and's, or but's in this game lol... Should be a great game.

Still interested in how people did with their picks from last week? I went 13-0 last week, which means I will prolly get every game wrong this week! LOL.
And Daddy, I love your game analysis! You've got a great sense of humor. (BTW, I really mean that--no sarcasm or comparison to BG implied!).
-- Posted by Preacher Man Fan on Mon, Sep 24, 2012, at 4:50 PM
Sideline I have no idea who wins the Sikeston, Jackson game. But I'm pretty positive it will take more then 30 points scored to win. I don't see Sikeston holding Jackson to three TD's. Selsor had his worse game against Cape and didn't have his top receiver Wright for most of the game. I know Cape's speed played a part in his poor game. I think he will be more prepared this week knowing Sikeston has same type of speed.
-- Posted by oldschoolbballer on Mon, Sep 24, 2012, at 5:12 PM
That's a difference of opinion. I can respect it. Could be a high scoring game but I really think the way these two teams are built lends itself to be on the lower end. Sikeston's defense is built on speed (the entire defending state champion 4x200 team is on the team) but also by following assignment, using multiple looks, and swarming to the ball. The pass defense has improved more than some will note. Sikeston has allowed 34 points through five games. I don't see them allowing that many in one game this week.

Congrats to the Kelly Hawks for winning their second game in a row today. As a Kelly alum, it makes me proud! I think they're going to have a good football program over there when they finally start playing a varsity schedule in a couple of years.

Kelly will be playing in the Central when they enter the SEMO Conference right?

It'll be interesting to see how these hawks compete in a couple years! Hard to judge how they will be with the jv schedule until they become varsity in the '14-'15 season I believe

Not for sure paulbd. My guess they will play in Semo Conference South with the smaller schools since they will prolly be Class 2.

The key is, don't ever lose to an opponent in a lower class. no matter how good they are you get the shaft in the points.
SG took a big hit by losing to MRH that week.
-- Posted by Shortbus on Wed, Sep 26, 2012, at 1:59 AM
If Sikeston can stop dropping the ball, I think they win by 2 TD's. As for Kelly, they play a lot of freshmen and have a lot of size that should still be there in 2 years when they start playing varsity. If they stay together and keep getting better, i think they'll be one of the better small schools in the area.
-- Posted by Fatboy1972 on Wed, Sep 26, 2012, at 3:36 AM
Bleed Green. Freddy is a lot better than your credit. They have a chance to handle maplewood and get a win on the road. They will not get blown out. They have just as much talent. they may not be faster as a team but they are a whole lot stronger as a team and will get physical with them. Your upset alert better be to watch out for perryville.
-- Posted by FBG on Wed, Sep 26, 2012, at 11:05 AM
FBG, I don't know what you're smoking. Ste Gen at Perryville is almost a bye week for the Dragons. Which, come to think about it, is unfair to the Blackcats.
All joking aside, SG should have NO problem with Perryville. The Pirates are not quite ready for prime-time IMO. I saw some talent when they played FredMo, so give them a year or two and develop a better O/D line and they could be contenders again.
Who knows, if SG is more banged up after the PHC game on top of the MRH mauling and the Pirates improve dramatically, there's a shot...
-- Posted by mojo3 on Wed, Sep 26, 2012, at 11:18 AM
Rocket and sideline.. You all think you will have a big crowd Friday? I hope we bring a huge crowd down there.
-- Posted by redhawk11 on Wed, Sep 26, 2012, at 11:38 AM
Shortbus, if I have understood the new playoff formula, you are not penalized for losing to a smaller school unless they beat you by 13 or more points. But that is true no matter what size school you are playing. Small schools are rewarded for playing up, but you are not penalized for playing down. So since SG lost to MRH by 8 points, they were penalized for the loss, but not excessively so. MRH gained points just for playing up, no matter what the outcome. Since they won the game, the gained points for that too.
-- Posted by Preacher Man Fan on Wed, Sep 26, 2012, at 12:36 PM
i want whatever FBG is smoking! but i seriously agree with him about freddy and maplewood.

-- Posted by Bleed Green on Wed, Sep 26, 2012, at 4:11 PM
I don't know BG.....Fredericktown is a good football team. They are most definitely capable of beating MW and SG. It will come down to execution.
Perryville is 4A....SG will automatically be atop the standings...

Obviously you havn't seen fredtown play, you think they don't have what it takes to beat maplewood? Why did you believe st gen was the only team in the conference that would have a shot. Oh cause your ignorant to your team and nobody else can play ball the st gen way. Fredtown does not lose that game by more than one possession. My call however, is that they win and you shut up about how good mwood is.
-- Posted by FBG on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 12:40 PM
the only way freddy loses by more than one possession, if they lose, it will be because korokis and gremminger are hurt. don't underestimate our coaches, they can out coach maplewood if it comes down to it.
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 1:41 PM
Thats for sure. Coach Henson is one of the best coaches in this area. His athletes will lay it all on the line for him.
-- Posted by FBG on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 1:47 PM
FBG, Daddy can tell you that I'm one of the biggest Blackcat fans (and not just in physical size!), but I have to say there are several things that have to come together for the 'Cats to have a chance to win the game with MRH. If it was at our place, I'd say we have a 60 - 40 chance of winning. With it at their place, the city refs, a VERY pass heavy offense (currently eighth in the STL area with 1080 yrds), the intimidating crowd and the moon rising in the seventh house, our chances are 60-40 the other way.
The realist in me says MRH wins, but by less than 2 TD's. But I will be there cheering the boys on and will hope and pray our stars align and the 'Cats win it by at least a TD.
-- Posted by mojo3 on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 5:01 PM
yea mojo knows more about blackcat football than i ever will. he knew more about my playing style than i did. i will say i agree that it's probably 60-40 in their favor, but in springfield today, we had a 60 percent chance of rain and it didn't even sprinkle. i say the game will be 35-30 either way. it'll come down to one BIG play in the second half to decide the game.
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 5:11 PM
Fredericktown by 14. (Yeah, I said it!)
Central by 21.
SG by 35+.

-- Posted by TheDaddy on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 5:32 PM
Like I've said 100 times......Fredericktown is a really good football team. Personally, I think they are very capable of beating Maplewood.
-- Posted by zachattack on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 5:39 PM
Coach Henson is probably watching the tape from the PHC game! If you can keep their offense off the field, there's a chance....
-- Posted by mojo3 on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 5:43 PM
FBG and who ever I have seen Freddy play they are a great team but I'm telling u Freddy looses and it could be by a lot just saying! If Hagen MWood QB is healthy the game will not be very close! If Freddy was playing at home maybe a slim shot but there not It's up there and they won't loose in there house! And the reason I said SG will beat MWood And not PHC and Freddy is because SG is better then them both! IMO we will see tomorrow night
-- Posted by Bleed Green on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 6:48 PM
St gen beat PHC on a lucky 2 point play. and Freddy will take st gen. Their running back is better, QB is better, D Backs are better, and O/D line is better than SG's. Freddy wins tomorrow night and next week at st gen. 2 big road wins. And Mojo believe me, your coaching staff is twice as good as Mwoods staff, and you guys will be alright.
-- Posted by FBG on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 7:37 PM
well i wont bad mouth coaches... but you can definitely tell alot about what they teach kids by the number of penalties, especially the 15 yarders, a team gets. and bleed green, i really don't understand your logic... if you go merely by the outcomes of the games here's the analysis...
maplewood beat you guys by 8, then you beat potosi by 8, then you went for 2 to beat park hills by 1 because we both know stolzer knew they didnt want to take PH in overtime.
freddy took park hills into overtime after having a couple questionable calls against them and a td called back. any way you want to look at it freddy only allowed PH to score 14 points in regulation. SG allowed 21. freddy beat potosi 43-22. you guys won 49-33.
i really do not see how you can make a definitive statement saying that fredericktown will get beat big... especially by 3 scores. who all was MW missing when you guys lost? PH allowed 0, zero, a goose egg to maplewood. luck? no. good executed game plan. freddy has the offense to do exactly what park hills did and in my opinion, a better overall coaching staff. even with running the spread, freddy can have 10 min scoring drives. i bet you freddy is working on the good ole power I this week too. penalties WILL kill maplewood. freddy's pass defense is pretty good. if MW gets in 3rd and 20's, don't expect MW to get very many first downs.
if MW has less than 150 yards of penalties and no turnovers then they probably win. but if they get 150+ and have a couple turnovers, freddy wins by 2 scores.
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Thu, Sep 27, 2012, at 10:07 PM
Daddy that's not how I decide who's the better team and u know it! I'm actually going to the Freddy MWood game tonight. I don't think the SG game will be very close but look for SG to play a lot of players early! That could make the game seem closer then it really is! SG has been hammered by injuries can't afford another tonight to a hard hitting Perryville team! I think the score tonight will be MWood 41- Freddy 19 I'm not down on Freddy it's just they have only played 1 descent team PHC and they lost dosnt matter if it was in OT or not U lost and u lost at HOME! MWood is way better then 7-0 score at PHC that I guarantee!

See, Bleed Green left himself an excuse. "
I don't think the SG game will be very close but look for SG to play a lot of players early! That could make the game seem closer then it really is!"
When he thinks his team should blow another team out, he makes an excuse already incase they don't. This guy is something else.
-- Posted by FBG on Fri, Sep 28, 2012, at 11:02 AM
you act like its the effin FBS and were oregon... you don't really get a home field advantage playing a team on a saturday. totally different atmosphere in HS football especially for teams down here. i don't see how you think they'll put 49 points up. i can see freddy scoring about 20 points though...

48-7 SG they allowed 120 yds total offense 58 on ground which 45 of that was on 1 drive! Secondary looked really good but it was against Pville! Perryville is huge but just don't have a lot if talent and no speed! Impressed by Freddy tonight can't wait til next week! But a word to the wise to Daddy that's why they play 4 quarters!!!!
-- Posted by Bleed Green on Fri, Sep 28, 2012, at 9:51 PM
next week SG loses by 3 TD's! freddy definitely could have won this game tonight. MW's defense stepped it up in the second quarter.

he went to SG, they only teach football there.

PHC thumped Potosi's melon.
-- Posted by zachattack on Fri, Sep 28, 2012, at 10:15 PM
33-6....
26-0 at half.
Potosi broke off a long run for a score sometime in the third.
PHC picked off Potosi 4 times.
PHC JV played very well - the entire 4th.

what did you think of wideman on offense and defense?
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Fri, Sep 28, 2012, at 11:29 PM
Comparing Perryville to Paraplegics is horrible you should be ashamed of yourself! I would be so offended if I was a Paraplegic being compared to Perryville. I mean maybe Potosi, but Perryville is just a low blow.

my bad... but "this aint a garden party, brother... this is football, where only the strongest survive! WOOOOOOO!"
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Fri, Sep 28, 2012, at 11:39 PM
well Tigers2638..........that blowout in your forecast, kinda went south ...
Sikeston came out in second half and never looked back.
Chris Word wanted the football.....and was a punishing runner. 193 yards against a Jackson defense that was supposed to be stifling.
Great job defensively for Sikeston. Why Jackson abandoned the passing game that was moving the ball in the first half, is a real good question...
Jackson's O Line was giving him time to pass...they just didn't as much in 2nd or so it seemed.
Sikeston was the team with the resolve at the end.....Kyland made some incredible , patient runs, keeping drives alive..and further confounding Jackson's defense. You could tell in the 3rd...Jackson was almost a spectator in the game, as you could literally see Sikeston's confidence grow. It WAS about hard hitting, ALL 4 quarters, it WAS about grinding it out and breaking your opponents will and desire. That is what the Dogs did last night. Word's 7, 8 9 yard runs, stiff-arms, hard nosed play, literally had Jacksons defense asking themselves a question..."How do we stop this guy"...while they asked, he kept running at them. Great night for the Offensive Line and Chris Word, Kyland, and crew. And hats off to another fine defensive game plan by Sikeston. Best passing offense we have seen, we bent some, but never lost that edge.
Jackson has alot of talent...lots of YOUNG talent, and they are in a position to be very good , the rest of the way out, and going forward. Sikeston's staff, are already thinking Cape......GO Bulldogs !!!!!!!
-- Posted by Headhunt on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 7:19 AM
Definitely agreed Headhunt especially on the point of seeing the confidence grow for Sikeston as Word finally got the running game figured out and Gross converted multiple clutch third downs. This game reminded me a lot of last year's game against Dexter when the adversity of a strong opponent finally led to everything coming together. Gotta keep the pedal to the floor and come out and do it again next week against Cape.

He was talking to u Daddy! If you wasn't to busy making fun of people you would no that!! All I gotta say is if I was to make fun of a handicap person on this web site everyone would hit that little icon or whatever it is to inform Rachel and my butt would be gone!! Some of u don't understand these are my opinions I told u what I thought would happen in the MWood Freddy game and you loose it I was half right! I gave my opinion on SG Perryville game u say "he's making excuses" no I'm not we have lost 4 all conf and all state starters to injuries I was giving my opinion on what I thought coach would do and guess what he pulled the starters in the 3 most of them! here's the bottom line when it comes to football up here Freddy and PHC are the Red headed step child to SG and like your idol Ric Flair says "to be the man u gotta beat the man" and SG is the man around here and u know it u can predict all u want u can have the best game plan all week but when you step on the field and see that SG on the helmet u forget about the game plan and you start thinking about getting beat by over 70 points in 2 games last year then before u know it bang your down 28 and your stopping off at DQ to get a blizzard!!
(I love the cookie dough) WHOOOOOO!!!!!!!
-- Posted by Bleed Green on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 8:13 AM
I mean you're here talking like SG is just steam rollin fools. You've played 2 games that were against contenders, lost one, and one the next one by 1 point on a gutsy call. I wouldn't say they are your redheadsd step child, more like slightly younger brothers, who probably possess a better physical build but psychologically you have to keep them down.

First off I was correcting myself, so thats revealing your pea-sized brain. Secondly, I'm a what have you done for me lately kind of guy, and as far as I care you can try and convince a wall all day you are good, but it doesn't matter because you will lose to JB even if every single person plays the game of their life. So you might as well play for bragging rights you don't have a shot at anything else
-- Posted by BillShakespeare on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 10:04 AM
Your right about that SG Freddy or PHC would get beat by JB every time
-- Posted by Bleed Green on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 10:18 AM
Guys you know Bleed Green is scared because freddy actually played with Mwood the entire game unlike St gen getting down early and getting help with a couple hundred yards in penalties to keep them in the game late. He's more scared this week then he has been because he knows freddy is going to come in and take it to st gen at their own field. Lets see what excuses come out this week so he can have a fallback when they lose.

Not worried at all! I know how good Freddy is trust me but I also know how good SG is. IMO Freddy has a great chance to beat us will they? I don't think so but u never Know! We will see friday
-- Posted by Bleed Green on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 11:35 AM
NATURE BOY! i haven't seen you in forever!
and Bleed Green, the only teams left on your schedule that have the chances to beat you all are c'ville and freddy. and they will both be LOFTY tests for SG. you will see freddy's best game, trust me. they're sick about that MWRH game. henson will have them ready to play SG. and c'ville has the coaching to beat you guys as well. i'm not sure about talent level (havent seen them play!) but i know they have a great coaching staff down there.
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 12:41 PM
Daddy, the Tigers definitely have the talent as well as the coaching to get the job done against SG. Should be a great game!

Bleed Green....come on, man. Your impressive SG pulled off an extremely lucky squeaker in Park Hills. We'll see who the stepchildren are very soon!

yea park hills should have won against SG no doubt. stolzer went all in with a pair of aces and PHC had a pair of kings... i'll tell you this, it wont be more than a 2-3 possession game either way. and like i said for last night, freddy is going to have to win the turnover game and pin SG deep on punts to win.
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 1:21 PM
Yes SG did win a tight one against PH,it was on PH turf so that makes it alittle more impressive.

Come on Zach can't I have a little fun? Trust me I know how good Freddy is I do there the 3 best team in dist 1 haha man this Is fun! All I gotta say is this I was the one at the beginning of the year that said Freddy was going to be good! I did Mojo ? Me about it go back and look! Its going to be a tough one next week I truly believe this will be SG biggest test. But if u don't think Coach Stotzer and weiler won't have these kids prepared your nutts u talk about Henson and Cville coaches neither coaching staff compare to Stotzer and Weiler call me a homer if ya want no one in Semo compares to them bottom line!!

Homer

and nature boy, stop being a lurker! we need more people talking smack.
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 3:43 PM
Question Bleed! How would you know that the Cville coaches don't compare to SG coaches? Since he has been coach, we have won districts every year, made it deep in the playoff's every year, he was selected to coach the state's All Star game and won that game. Has only lost 4 times in the last 3 years. Not to bad for a young coach. I'm not knocking SG coaches at all, just saying, don't downgrade other coaches because you "think" SG has the best coaches around. Cville has a great coaching staff and anyone who has played Caruthersville will tell you that.
-- Posted by Cheesehead. on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 4:15 PM
i'll tell you that and i've seen c'ville play once! for a small public school to do that every year, it takes more than talent to win that many games and go deep in the playoffs.
-- Posted by TheDaddy on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 4:19 PM
There is no definitive best coach in the area. It's silly yet unsurprising that Bleed Green would try to spew that claim. Gibbs, Naeger, Eckley, and Morgan are all right there with the coaches at Ste. Gen. But again, it wouldn't be Bleed Green if he didn't embellish his team into a Super Bowl contender everyday who has never lost a fair fight.
-- Posted by sideline starter on Sat, Sep 29, 2012, at 4:25 PM
hahahah.....I am disappointed!!!
It took Bleed Green waaaaay longer than expected to respond to my last comment!

Cheese I'm not knocking any coaches IMO Coach Stotzer and weiler are best around! I'm sure u do have great coaches!!

Sideline---What are your thoughts on how Sikeston will beat Jackson? As I said on another post I haven't seen you guys play yet but did see the Jackson/Cape game...I know you'll have more team speed.

Can't wait to see the Jackson/Sikeston game Friday!
Rocket, I'm coming for sure!

Blow out game of the week Freddy at MWood Freddy has to travel to MWood and play in there back yard MWood has to a lot of speed!
^ Just as a sidenote, Just as a side note 15 of those points were from the offense

We would welcome them with open arms! Glad to see a new school coming to the conference.
Yah congrats to kelly on the new football program!! Gonna need bigger stands to hold those overflow crowds! I have no idea about dawgs-indians. Even though ima big dawgfan its great to see jax get up off the mat, no one likes to see a program hit rockbottom. Go dawgz!!

The key is, don't ever lose to an opponent in a lower class. no matter how good they are you get the shaft in the points.
SG took a big hit by losing to MRH that week.
Rocket and sideline.. You all think you will have a big crowd Friday? I hope we bring a huge crowd down there.
Since they won the game, the gained points for that too.
i want whatever FBG is smoking! but i seriously agree with him about freddy and maplewood.
I know you do daddy. I just said that about perryville to bug bleed green like he bugs everybody else. I'm confident freddy will come home with a win friday.
i like you bro. we think alike.
FBG is an idiot just to put it nicely! If MWood has there whole team Freddy looses by 21 sorry daddy! And for your Perryville comment that just shows your ignorance! Anyways does anyone know if Perryville is 3A or 4A I know they got bumped a few years ago but don't know if there still there?
I don't know BG.....Fredericktown is a good football team. They are most definitely capable of beating MW and SG. It will come down to execution.
Perryville is 4A....SG will automatically be atop the standings...

Obviously you havn't seen fredtown play, you think they don't have what it takes to beat maplewood? Why did you believe st gen was the only team in the conference that would have a shot. Oh cause your ignorant to your team and nobody else can play ball the st gen way. Fredtown does not lose that game by more than one possession. My call however, is that they win and you shut up about how good mwood is.
the only way freddy loses by more than one possession, if they lose, it will be because korokis and gremminger are hurt. don't underestimate our coaches, they can out coach maplewood if it comes down to it.
Thats for sure. Coach Henson is one of the best coaches in this area. His athletes will lay it all on the line for him.
But I will be there cheering the boys on and will hope and pray our stars align and the 'Cats win it by at least a TD.
yea mojo knows more about blackcat football than i ever will. he knew more about my playing style than i did. i will say i agree that it's probably 60-40 in their favor, but in springfield today, we had a 60 percent chance of rain and it didn't even sprinkle. i say the game will be 35-30 either way. it'll come down to one BIG play in the second half to decide the game.
Fredericktown by 14. (Yeah, I said it!)
Central by 21.
SG by 35+.
i like the way you think zach.
Like I've said 100 times......Fredericktown is a really good football team. Personally, I think they are very capable of beating Maplewood.
Coach Henson is probably watching the tape from the PHC game! If you can keep their offense off the field, there's a chance....
St gen beat PHC on a lucky 2 point play. and Freddy will take st gen. Their running back is better, QB is better, D Backs are better, and O/D line is better than SG's. Freddy wins tomorrow night and next week at st gen. 2 big road wins. And Mojo believe me, your coaching staff is twice as good as Mwoods staff, and you guys will be alright.
well i wont bad mouth coaches... but you can definitely tell alot about what they teach kids by the number of penalties, especially the 15 yarders, a team gets. and bleed green, i really don't understand your logic... if you go merely by the outcomes of the games here's the analysis...
maplewood beat you guys by 8, then you beat potosi by 8, then you went for 2 to beat park hills by 1 because we both know stolzer knew they didnt want to take PH in overtime.
freddy took park hills into overtime after having a couple questionable calls against them and a td called back. any way you want to look at it freddy only allowed PH to score 14 points in regulation.
It wouldn't surprise me if Jackson dominated Sikeston in the second half. I'm not saying it will happen, but it is a possibility
See, Bleed Green left himself an excuse. "
I don't think the SG game will be very close but look for SG to play a lot of players early! That could make the game seem closer then it really is!"
When he thinks his team should blow another team out, he makes an excuse already incase they don't. This guy is something else.
you act like its the effin FBS and were oregon... you don't really get a home field advantage playing a team on a saturday. totally different atmosphere in HS football especially for teams down here. i don't see how you think they'll put 49 points up. i can see freddy scoring about 20 points though...
Tigers2638....I'm not trying to argue, I'm just wondering what would lead you to make your comment.
hey its a great way to cover your butt if perryville makes it a game! if freddy beats MWRH tonight he'll say "oh hagen wasn't at 100% obviously" BG belongs in a tree, he's a freakin nut!
Daddy, FBG, check out Zach's new avatar. It says it all! LOL!
zach is probably the funniest guy on this... besides me of course.
OMG.. I died laughing when I saw that. Also, I love the Rick Flair pic as well.."To be the man,you gotta beat the man"
48-7 SG they allowed 120 yds total offense 58 on ground which 45 of that was on 1 drive! Secondary looked really good but it was against Pville! Perryville is huge but just don't have a lot if talent and no speed! Impressed by Freddy tonight can't wait til next week! But a word to the wise to Daddy that's why they play 4 quarters!!!!
next week SG loses by 3 TD's! freddy definitely could have won this game tonight. MW's defense stepped it up in the second quarter.
Sorry The daddy I shouldve put it on this thread instead, but it remains the same
oh and look at my above post. i said freddy would score 20 and maplewood wouldn't score 49.
Your smoking crack you know better then that! I can guarantee that won't happen! If SG Secondary plays like tonight u loose! U will not run on us that's a promise!
It's "lose" not "loose". BTW, big win tonight for SG. Can't wait til our two teams meet up. It will be a good one.
Sikeston 26 Jackson 17 yep that's right!!
any secondary can play well against perryville.... and congrats... you stopped perryville's running game. that's like beating a paraplegic in a 40 yard dash.
he went to SG, they only teach football there.
PHC thumped Potosi's melon.
33-6....
26-0 at half.
Potosi broke off a long run for a score sometime in the third.
PHC picked off Potosi 4 times.
PHC JV played very well - the entire 4th.
what did you think of wideman on offense and defense?
Comparing Perryville to Paraplegics is horrible you should be ashamed of yourself! I would be so offended if I was a Paraplegic being compared to Perryville. I mean maybe Potosi, but Perryville is just a low blow.
my bad... but "this aint a garden party, brother... this is football, where only the strongest survive! WOOOOOOO!"
well Tigers2638..........that blowout in your forecast, kinda went south ...
Won* my EnGlishes teacher be proud of dat
I'm not talking this year Professor! I don't give a flip if I spell a word wrong or use a word in the wrong way who cares! Im talking about look at Freddy and PHC record against SG in the past 25 years! It's not very good. Once again know what your talking about before u open your mouth!!
Somebody forgot to take thier midol this morning
First off I was correcting myself, so thats revealing your pea-sized brain. Secondly, I'm a what have you done for me lately kind of guy, and as far as I care you can try and convince a wall all day you are good, but it doesn't matter because you will lose to JB even if every single person plays the game of their life. So you might as well play for bragging rights you don't have a shot at anything else
Your right about that SG Freddy or PHC would get beat by JB every time
Guys you know Bleed Green is scared because freddy actually played with Mwood the entire game unlike St gen getting down early and getting help with a couple hundred yards in penalties to keep them in the game late. He's more scared this week then he has been because he knows freddy is going to come in and take it to st gen at their own field. Lets see what excuses come out this week so he can have a fallback when they lose.
Daddy how dare you use the Nature Boy as your avatar.
LOL
.
Not worried at all! I know how good Freddy is trust me but I also know how good SG is. IMO Freddy has a great chance to beat us will they? I don't think so but u never Know! We will see friday
NATURE BOY! i haven't seen you in forever!
and Bleed Green, the only teams left on your schedule that have the chances to beat you all are c'ville and freddy. and they will both be LOFTY tests for SG. you will see freddy's best game, trust me. they're sick about that MWRH game. henson will have them ready to play SG. and c'ville has the coaching to beat you guys as well. i'm not sure about talent level (havent seen them play!) but i know they have a great coaching staff down there.
Daddy, the Tigers definitely have the talent as well as the coaching to get the job done against SG. Should be a great game!
Bleed Green....come on, man. Your impressive SG pulled off an extremely lucky squeaker in Park Hills. We'll see who the stepchildren are very soon!
My avatar says it all.
yea park hills should have won against SG no doubt. stolzer went all in with a pair of aces and PHC had a pair of kings... i'll tell you this, it wont be more than a 2-3 possession game either way. and like i said for last night, freddy is going to have to win the turnover game and pin SG deep on punts to win.
Yes SG did win a tight one against PH,it was on PH turf so that makes it alittle more impressive.
Daddy, I've just been lurking on here mostly.
Miss the old sportsweb, but this isn't bad.
Same ol crew saying the same ol stuff, but I sure get a kick out of it!
WOOOOO!
Homer
HOMER!!! and not homer bailey. that dude is a STUD!
and nature boy, stop being a lurker! we need more people talking smack.
Cville has a great coaching staff and anyone who has played Caruthersville will tell you that.
i'll tell you that and i've seen c'ville play once! for a small public school to do that every year, it takes more than talent to win that many games and go deep in the playoffs.
There is no definitive best coach in the area. It's silly yet unsurprising that Bleed Green would try to spew that claim. Gibbs, Naeger, Eckley, and Morgan are all right there with the coaches at Ste. Gen. But again, it wouldn't be Bleed Green if he didn't embellish his team into a Super Bowl contender everyday who has never lost a fair fight.
hahahah.....I am disappointed!!!
It took Bleed Green waaaaay longer than expected to respond to my last comment!
Cheese I'm not knocking any coaches IMO Coach Stotzer and weiler are best around! I'm sure u do have great coaches!!
well bleed green's opinions are like b'holes, they stink.
Daddy I'll try to get more involved just been pretty busy.
It's the little naitchs senior season at SV. So I've been busy getting him ready to " walk that aisle" every Friday night.
WOOOOOO!
soooo you're not nature boy, you're nature man.
Potosi gets picked 4 times.....PHC
