Which Semo Team has the best chance to get there your thoughts?

I'd say Caruthersville. Sikeston's road is just too tough. Portageville may have what it takes to get past Valle but that's as far as they go I think. SG turns the ball over too much to compete with Burroughs. They have done it in big games all season. PHC hasn't beat the man yet so they don't qualify to being talked about until they do.
All in all I think Caruthersville has the best shot.
Kzar, we are going to have to get out of our district first and that is no easy task with the kind of ball that Malden and Charleston are both playing now.

Good point. Silly me, I put the cart in front if the horse. I think In that case I think Caruthersville might win their opening round against East prairie by alot. The tigers perhaps could beat up on Jefferson in the semi's setting up a hypothetical rematch against Malden or Charleston. In that game they just might win in blowout fashion. Then it's possible they could win acouple more games and might make it to the dome.
Bro, we are fans we don't have to give the standard cookie cutter coaches answer of one game at a time. Can't look ahead and such. Caruthersville has the best chance to get there, I stand by that and I'm not even a tiger fan...

I agree with Beef on this one. Malden and Charleston have improved a lot since we played them last, but so have we. Man I'd love to see Maplewood again though.
You will and I'm telling u you will win! MWood got spanked last night! Although by the best team in the state but still got spanked. That will be in there head the rest of the year! Early prediction Cville 27 MWood 20!! And I understand you guys gotta be nice about Malden and Charelston but Cville is head and shoulders better then they are!!

Caruthersville and Valle have the best chance IMO. Both teams should get some key players back from injury in the next couple of weeks. Malden and Charleston have both improved and have good teams, but Caruthersville just has too good a defense and too many weapons for either team to contain all game. Same with Valle, esp. if they get their starting QB back. Portageville will give them a better than expected game in the district championship, but Valle will still win the game.
I honestly feel Hayti could be a spoiler in district 1. They made a change at QB and they are really a better team all the way around than they were earlier. Don't be surprised if they upset Pville.
Bleed Green, JB is not best team in state, they are arent near the best team in st louis, and kansas city and Webb City would kill them.
And another point Ive seen MRH a few times, they arent that good really. They do have a few really good players though.
Also what the hell happened with Sikeston and ritter last time I watched Ritter play the got beat by Ritenour by like 50 points, once again not to be a jerk but football in southeast mo is very weak.
Pville will have all it can handle with Hayti.

Sorry Sg fanthis is same team that lost when they played maplewood, problem is you havent played any really good teams, just the facts sorry.
And here i thought you were giving your opinion! in that case.. what teams are the top teams in stl. if u say, c3 JB & c2 MRH arent near the best teams in STL.

Ok stlscott, we get it. After a couple years of your comments. We get it. Southeast Missouri sucks. Any out of area team that plays and loses to SEMO team sucks. All SEMO teams suck. Nobody is any good. Nobody stands any chance at state. If any of our teams play any of the top teams in St. Louis, we have zero chance. We get it. Thank you. We understand. So lets try a different approach shall we? Instead of telling us how crappy we all are, how about you add something useful to the blogs? Ok, SEMO teams suck. We get it. Compared to who? CBC, Rockhurst, Blue Springs, DeSmet? Well yeah, sure. No way we beat those teams. Could any team around here beat John Burroughs? Nope. Ok, check off that one. How about something useful. Tell us something we don't already know. I understand you have seen nearly everybody. I understand that SEMO teams don't measure up to the people you've seen. So tell us how far SEMO teams will go? Because no matter how bad we all suck, somebody is going to emerge from SEMO and at least make a quarterfinal and possibly a semifinal. So who are those teams going to be and who will those teams play in the quarterfinals and semifinals? That's what I want to know. We already know we suck. Thank you for keeping us updated every week on that. We just want to know who we are going to lose to.

Well Im sorry but if the best team in Semo, gets beat by Cardinal Ritter well that speaks for itself, bring on hoops.

The problem is and I think if we read between the lines of stlscotts post, what he is establishing is because the southeast region has zero way to recruit our teams players, there is no way that a southeast school district can compete with the big boys or littlier(JB,CR,MICDS and the list goes on) that can weed in and weed out whom they want. Athlete yes, non athlete no we don't have room. Congrats to all the teams in the southeast area that play their hearts out every Friday with the talent with in their districts..
Yea Nd doesnt recruit in anything , oh and cape doesnt either and I for one know that SCC does, trust me I know alot about sports down there, and if Ritter is recruiting, the recruiter needs to be fired because they are terrible.
Scott again we beat ourselves, we made lots of mistakes and we aren't the best team in SEMO. We have a good defense but offense is not the best but they do their best and their record shows how good our defense is. Have u seen us play? Trust me we have enough haters we don't need another especially one that likes us usually in bball

If y'all are counting Ste Gen as a SEMO team than coincidently that means Valle is also classified as SEMO...If I'm correct, don't they have the most State Championships? I would say that isn't bad SEMO football...
