It'll be tough for Cape, especially in Sikeston. As footballfan29 said though, cape has the speed to keep up. I think it'll come down to conditioning and turnover margin. Both of these teams have been dropping the ball so whichever hangs on to it will come out with a W.
-- Posted by CapeAlum on Sun, Oct 28, 2012, at 9:48 PM
Sikeston-Cape will be a very good game. I'm curious to see what both teams can do with better weather than we got in the last contest. I know the Sikeston kids are motivated and want to win bigger than last time. However, that will be tough with Chris Martin back. It'll be a great game Wednesday.

Hayti at Portageville- Hayti's offense is so basic and predictable, SV ran the bone last week and Hayti snuck out with a win, Portageville runs the bone MUCH better. Dawgs win
Thayer at Valle- Due to the drive, 3+ hours, and the fact that Thayer just don't have the horses they once did, Warriors light up the John Dempsy Scoreboard again this week
Scott City at Caruthersville- Well, I think we all know what's coming in this one. C'ville by 40+
Charleston at Malden- Should be a good game, I really like to say the Green Waves ride the tide do I'm giving them one more week
New Madrid County Central at Ste. Genevieve- The Trojan wall fell last week to the Eagles, however those eagles get scorched by the dragons
Fredericktown at Park Hills Central-- Game of the week but I think its gonna be surprisingly not that close, PHC
Cape Central at Sikeston- Chris "The F" Word is gonna be dropping bombs up and down Sikeston Wed night, Cape Central continues their losing streak, Dawgs roll on
North County at Hillsboro- NC has been playing better of late but won't be enough to over take Hillsboro, additionally Hillsboro has one of the nicest looking turfs around
Vianney at Jackson- Jackson hosting a playoff game should get the community out in support, I like the Indians in this one, even though BG thinks they're overrated
Fox at Rockwood Summit- SUMMIT! Everyone Vote for SUMMIT!!!

Does anyone know if there is a radio station that will carry Hayti/Portageville game? Hayti was not overly impressive in the SV game.

Hayti at Portageville...Humes lights em up..but it's gonna be fairly close. Hayti by a TD.
Thayer at Valle...I'd like to say Thayer upset!!! But Valle catholic Warriors at home in the playoffs...gotts to Naeger and the Warriors at John Dempsey..by at least 20 or more
Cville over Scott City!
Charleston falls to Malden...but malden won't last longer than that!
St.Gen I believe that they will win! I believe that they will win!
Cape Central gets ready for basketball season again.. as KG3 and the bulldogs knock them out of the playoffs yet again!!
The Rebels of the Park Hills aka Flat River take down the blackcats!!
NoCo I'm taking to beat Hillsboro..but it'll be close
Vianney has no chance against Jackson!! Indians by 2 scores or more!!
Idk who really cares about this last one but I was told by Shakespeare to pick SUMMIT so...Summit!

Did Sikeston turn the ball over a lot tonight?
Hate- How did Bogan do against Malden? Very impressed with the way they took it to Malden. Should be a good game in Cville on Monday.

Fumbles definitly cost them the game
-- Posted by Sonic-The-Hedgehog on Wed, Oct 31, 2012, at 9:19 PM
Fumble on the opening drive leads to a cape field goal
Fumble in the second half leads to a cape touchdown
And a fumble in the endzone that cost sikeston a td
17 point swing... yeah
-- Posted by Sonic-The-Hedgehog on Wed, Oct 31, 2012, at 9:21 PM
I called it! Congratulations to Cape and congrats to Sikeston on a good year! The Jackson Indians look forward to playing yall next year!

He hate me,
You need to calm down. You can say nice things about a player on one team without saying bad things about a player on another team. You need to figure out how or your account will be suspended.

Malden with a costly Holding Penalty on a touchdown run by McCoy which would of tied the game at 36 was the deciding factor in the game

She suspended me before. Of course it was when I first got on here. I was rough around the edges once but learned how to cope with people. (Well, to an extent anyway.)
-- Posted by Cheesehead. on Wed, Oct 31, 2012, at 10:28 PM
Sonic--You're forgetting the fumble Central had after a good drive inside the 20..Gross ran a 75 yard touchdown 2 plays later. Turnovers were on both sides. I did forget about the fumble through the endzone..That was a big one..

Deciding factor? Did you forget that Charleston fumbled the ball into the endzone on their previous possession which would've put them back up by 12? And, that call was questionable; knee appeared to be down before the fumble occurred, not to mention, I believe I heard the whistle blow before the fumble.
I know we all have our biased outlooks on the game but I hardly believe that one TD being called back was the deciding factor.
Kudos to McCoy; he's really good but IMO, not Carr Trophy material. Criglar is an outstanding receiver; phenomenal catch in the endzone; he appears to be the type that all the qb has to do is throw it up and he'll go get it.

Has anyone seen both Valle and Portageville play?
If so, could it be a game?
-- Posted by buyer beware on Thu, Nov 1, 2012, at 8:30 AM
I think it will definitely be a game. Portageville is playing at home and the NMCC game was a wake-up call. They have responded well to it. Allen and Walker are very dangerous. Fewest turnovers will decide it.
-- Posted by MU_Tigers on Thu, Nov 1, 2012, at 8:43 AM
Man I picked against Portageville twice this season. They won both them games. I'm not going to do it again. I know Valle will be the heavy favorite but I'm going with Pville in this one.
-- Posted by Cheesehead. on Thu, Nov 1, 2012, at 10:02 AM
I believe Portageville is good but not dominating.Valley has the ability to rattlte opponents with their speed. Valle by 3 touchdowns.
