Tiger Woods: The Golfer
Posted by drawmules on Fri, Apr 9, 2010, at 1:37 AM:

Tiger Woods may very well be three days away from winning yet another Masters.

Woods is two shots behind Fred Couples after the first round. History would suggest Woods has positioned himself to win the green jacket. Woods rarely loses when he is on the front page of the leaderboard after the first round.

Unfortunately, the talk probably won't be about Woods being in a position to win his 15th major this weekend.

When I was 10 I told myself I want to be in attendance when Tiger Woods passes Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus has won 18 majors. If Tiger Woods wins every major this season he will tie Nicklaus. I won't predict this will happen. However, I won't be surprised if Woods does win every major this season.

Tiger Woods is basketball's version of Michael Jordan. How many times have you heard Charles Barkley commentate on a TNT broadcast that there will never been another Michael Jordan in basketball?

Today, I would like to take the opportunity to inform everyone there will be another Tiger Woods in golf.

Therefore, I think we should take the opportunity to enjoy what Tiger Woods brings to golf. I plan on devoting most of my time this Sunday to watching Tiger Woods play golf. Will anyone else be watching Tiger Woods, the golfer, on Sunday?

I hate typos on forums because you cannot correct them.

I can ensure you the typo bothers me more than it bothers you semoball fans. I'll probably stay awake all night talking to myself about the typo and how/why it should have been prevented.

I just hope we have responses. I would love to see more commentary on the professional sports forums.

I will definatly be watching Tiger Woods this weekend! I agree there will never be another like him. I always looked up to him while I played high school golf.

Tiger still has work to do in living up to his own promises to"control his temper and his mouth". Great golfer, but not my role model.
