I'll also take the Lakers in 6. I think Artest locks down Pierce and Gasol outplays Garnett and that's the difference between this year and 2008. Also, Kobe must win this for his legacy, beating the Celtics would be huge for him and his position amoungst the al time greats. The Celtics will finaly run out of steam and run up against a team that isn't soft and tolls over the first chance they get (see Orlando Magic & Cleveland Cavaliers). Let's face it any team infected with the Vince Carter virus isn't making the finals. The Lakers won't back down to the physical play and win in 5 or 6.

I think that this series will go the full 7 games, and the Lakers will come out on top in the end. I think the Lakers have too much height inside and will use it to full advantage. Also something to watch is that Kendrick Perkins comes into the series with 6 Technical fouls through the playoffs, so if he gets another, he will be suspended for 1 game, which will further help the size advantage of the Lakers.

Lakers are up by 9 at halftime of Game 1 ... has been a pretty good game so far

Lakers took game 1, and it looked fairly easy for them as they played great defense and were able to get points in the paint frequently.

If our predictions our right we will need the Lakers to win the next two games. The series is now tied at 2.

This has been a very weird series, and had some surprises as well. It has made it to 7 games, which was my prediction from the beginning haha. But anyways the Lakers dominated game 6. But they have not won 2 games in a row yet in this series. Also Boston has not really had 2 "off" games in a row in this series. Also Kendrick Perkins was hurt during game 6 and may not be able to play or be effective in game 7. It should be a great game 7 and I am still sticking with my original prediction and taking the Lakers in game 7.

The Los Angeles Lakers will play the Boston Celtics in the NBA Championship.
Any thoughts or predictions on the NBA Championship?
I have the Lakers defeating the Celtics in six games.
