Which team will win the Super Bowl?

Colts. You just can't stop Peyton Manning.

That being said, this is a Super Bowl where I won't be disappointed either way. I'm a huge Manning fan, but I like the Saints too.

Note: I will be online Sunday afternoon during the Super Bowl if anyone wants to discuss the game. I will discuss the game on this forum thread. I remain optimistic the motel I am staying at tonight will have good WiFi. I would love to see others join the discussion.

The Minnesota / New Orleans forum thread I started two weeks ago was boring because I talked to myself for four hours about the game.

Join me on this forum thread tonight. Kickoff is 5:25 p.m.

I'm two minutes early and I have great WiFi. What did everyone think of Carrie Underwood's singing? I hope someone shows up to discuss the game.

The NFC has now one the coin toss 13 straight years in the Super Bowl.

According to Jim Nance, the odds of this happening is 8100 to 1.

I didn't take the Colts defense long to get a defensive stop.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 5:34 PM

Manning completed his first three passes. Any thoughts?

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 5:38 PM

The oldest player to ever play in the Super Bowl, Matt Stover, scores first! 3-0 Indianapolis.

Thinking out loud . . . I really wish the pizza place I wanted pizza from delievered . . . I really wish someone was reading this to LOL.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 5:49 PM

Indianapolis is ahead 10-0. Any thoughts?

10-3 Indianapolis. Is anyone alive out there? Can anyone here me? I feel like I'm watching the Titanic again.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 6:37 PM

New Orleans goes for it on fourth down instead of kicking the field goal and they do not convert. Could this be the difference in the game?

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 6:42 PM

The Saints get the ball back and kick a field goal before halftime. 10-6. I don't think the failed conversion attempt had any impact on the score. The Saints got the ball back with good field position and got their three points they would have got on the earlier possession

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 6:53 PM

I liked it when the halftime shows were more upbeat. Upbeat . . . I think that is the word to describe it.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 7:14 PM

The Saints try an onside kick to start the second half and recover the football. WOW

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 7:23 PM

New Orleans leads 13-10. If anyone wants to talk about the game speak now.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 7:32 PM

17-13 Indianapolis.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 7:42 PM

17-16 Indianapolis. If any replies I will provide more detailed comments. Until then, 17-16 Indianapolis.

*anyone*

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:04 PM

Stover misses a kick from 51. This gives the Saints great field position.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:06 PM

This isnt as high scoring as some had thought. But ya know it often seems that seasons when a teams offense is the story, usually it does come down to the greater defense. Both teams are very close to mirrored offensively, and so far, the defense has been the talk of Miami.

-- Posted by semolian on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:13 PM

New Orleans leads 22-17 with 5:43 remaining.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:15 PM

The two point conversion is good after a challenge. 24-17 New Orleans. Huge call. In my opinion, it was the right call.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:20 PM

Possibly biggest play of the night by Lance Moore.

This could be the difference maker. With a two point conversation NO 24-17.

semolian

It is so great to hear from you. I hope the game goes to overtime. I love overtimes.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:23 PM

I agree I had to work until 7:00 so OT would be my first half for me :)

-- Posted by semolian on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:26 PM

I was hoping the Saints would win, but to be honest I thought Manning would be too much for them. I'm happy to see so far Im wrong :)

-- Posted by semolian on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:27 PM

"second" half for me.

-- Posted by semolian on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:29 PM

Porter with the interception. 31-17 New Orleans. Wow! Wow! Wow!

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:29 PM

OOH, can you say game over! Porter picks off Manning, for a TD. That's should be the nail in the coffin. What ya think Drawmules??

-- Posted by semolian on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:31 PM

I would be shocked if we have overtime.

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:34 PM

Me 2, but if we can Manning is the one who can make it happen. I don't know though it's kinda like a 3 pointer to give the other team a 4 point lead with 5 seconds left.

-- Posted by semolian on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:37 PM

Saints win!

-- Posted by drawmules on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:44 PM

should be Co- MVP's...Drew Brees, and Kicker Garrett Hartley.

-- Posted by semolian on Sun, Feb 7, 2010, at 8:51 PM

drawmules
