Bernie right-hander John Nimmo matched Bell City ace Luke Nichols pitch for pitch Saturday in the first round of the Fall Baseball Tournament at Bernie Schools. However, second-seeded Bell City scored the winning run on a homer by Jacob Byford in the sixth inning and beat seventh-seeded Bernie 2-1.
