High-powered Bernie offense overcomes 'sluggish start' in latest W (3/29/24)BERNIE – The Bernie High School softball program spent all off-season preparing for this spring, and it has shown as the Mules have raced out to a 5-1 start. “We worked in the winter with the time that we had,” veteran Bernie coach Brad Botsch said of the allowable three hours each week. “We have started pretty strong, but I think that we’ll be a lot better at the end than where we are now.”

Stanfield's 'really good' season continues in narrow W over Bearcats (3/29/24)BERNIE – There was little margin for error for either the Bernie High School or Dexter High School varsity baseball squads on Thursday. However, in the end, the Mules got a great outing on the mound, and at the plate, from junior Taylor Stanfield that proved to be the difference in a 2-1 Bernie win at Bernie High School.
